A year to remember….

XMAS 2016
Festive Greetings to you all,

As the year comes to a close, one would be forgiven for thinking that Quinton Tarantino was directing 2016.  A year in review and a world in flux.  Who would’ve thought when we started the year, that Brexit would've been a reality in our lives and that Britain would have voted to leave the E.U…not sure David Cameron saw that one coming….and that Theresa May would become Prime Minister? The surge of immigrants from Syria into Europe, creating the biggest refugee crises for years and bringing with it discord and heated debate. Donald Trump winning the American Presidency and being named TIME magazine’s person of the year. There are so many stories to be reviewed in 2016, that were unpredictable, compelling and downright unbelievable.

Reflecting back on the year at Sapro, I would firstly like to thank each and every one of you, our customers for your support.  Sapro has continued to grow, increasing both our customer base, as well as the number of containers we have packed this year.

We hope that even though we have continued to grow the business, we have also maintained our high levels of service, something we at Sapro pride ourselves on, ensuring it is one of the most important aspects of our business.

It has been a very busy year for us and, unfortunately, not without incident as our warehouse was  broken into early in November and a substantial amount of stock was stolen.  We have to be grateful for the fact that our computers were not stolen and we were able to continue with business, as usual the very next day and hopefully with limited impact, if any, to our customers.

We close on the 15th of December this year and as I am sure you are, are looking forward to a well deserved 2 week holiday.  Our offices open again on the 3rd of January, ready for a  successful and interesting 2017, where we will be ready for your new orders.

Some of our staff members will only be back on the 9th of January, as the majority of the manufacturers only open then and usually need the first week to start their production runs again.  As a result, we will only have stock delivered in the third week of January, with container packing commencing again in the third and fourth week of January.

Lastly, I would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year and a restful and safe Festive Season.

Warm Regards,
Audrey
